Belle Plaine Cat League 2010 Official Rules
There will be two divisions, Flathead and Channel. Participants may enter their largest score for each of the species each league night.
Points:
Points will be awarded based upon length + girth of each fish. The top 5 of the 6 League nights will go toward final standings for each participant. So, if you miss a week or get skunked for some reason - just catch big fish every other week. Round your measurements to the nearest full inch. Girth is to be measured at the widest part of the fish.
Dates and Location:
Fishing boundaries from the Minnesota/Mississippi confluence to Franklin area on MN River.

June 18th This is the all night option. End time is 7am.

Fishing hours are from 7:00pm to 1:00am.
Lineups for the captain/rider pairs are as follows:
Entry Submission:
All fish must be caught, photographed, and released. The picture must be provided for authenticity by 6:00 Sunday after League night, or your entry will not be allowed. Submit your entry through the Submission Form.
Using the form can save a lot of time for the admin, because it is consistent and because it auto-uploads the photos to the gallery.
Once again, if at all possible, please submit your photos through the Submission Form.

All photos of fish shall be taken in a natural environment and the fish must appear in healthy condition.
$60 entry fee, 100% payback.
Payment for league to be made no later than May 17th to Brian Raleigh. (cash or check)
League members must have a digital camera to photograph their entries.
League members must be a member in good standing on FishingMinnesota.com ( HSO Outdoors)
No complaints, questions on rules or rulings, whining or gripes will not be tolerated on the BPCL thread on HSO. You may be banned from the League. Email Brian at BGRDUMP@AOL.com on this to keep it discreet and confidential.
Excessive abuse of nature, rider or captain not tolerated. Violators are subject to banishment from the League at the discretion of the League board.
Follow all DNR fishing and boating rules and guidelines.
If participant chooses to leave the league, all money paid is forfeited.
If severe weather threatens, the choice to fish will be made by the League board.
No make-up dates unless decided by the League board.
If you can't fish a certain night, please notify your partner and find your own substitute by Thursday before League night.
If you cancel on the same day of League, and not for family or other emergency related issues, you will be banned from the League for the rest of the year and all prize money will be forfeited to the rest of the League.
Bait and gas money are to be decided and agreed upon by Captain and Rider before the night that they fish.
Captain has the option to boat to a shore spot to fish at any time
5 of the 6 League nights will go towards final standings.
Most Importantly - Have Fun and Be SAFE!

Nightly Winners:
1st Place Flathead = $50, 2nd Place Flathead = $25, 3rd Place Flathead = $10
1st Place Channel = $40, 2nd Place Channel = $20, 3rd Place Channel = $10
Year End Payout:
1st Place Flathead = $80, 2nd Place Flathead = $40, 3rd Place Flathead = $20
1st Place Channel = $60, 2nd Place Channel = $30, 3rd Place Channel = $20
Booby Prize: $10 each to whomever catches the SMALLEST Flathead and Channel.
Remaining money ($160) will be for Secretary expenses and hats.
